The past three weeks have gone really well at Sun Valley since lifting many restrictions and COVID numbers and vaccination rates continue to improve. We are so thankful for this!
At this time the board and management has decided to bring back the final three components to our typical operation: guests, the grill, and social events.
GUESTS
Guests will be welcome beginning tomorrow, June 23 and will be subject to our usual guest policy outlined below.
We have set up a contactless payment system that accepts chip cards, contactless cards, Apple Pay, andGoogle Pay. All major credit cards with a magnetic strip will also be accepted. We strongly encourage contactless payments over cash. If you need to pay in cash, please bring small bills as our ability to make change is limited.
There will also be an option for adults to purchase an e-gift card that children may use to make contactless guest fee payments when visiting Sun Valley on their own. The e-gift card can also be stored to the member account for easy access. Visit the front desk to purchase an e-gift card.
Guest Policy
All guests must check in and register with the gate attendant and a member must accompany all guests.
An adult member must sponsor minor guests and the adult member is responsible for the conduct of their guests.
All guests will be charged as follows: contactless payment method strongly encouraged
Adult Guest $10.00
Child Guest (18 & under) $5.00
After 6:00pm no charge;
must sign in and counts towards 5 visit limit
There is a family cap of $25.00 per day
No charge for non-swimming adult guests entering in street clothes
No guest may appear more often than five times during the season.
Special arrangements can be made with the manager for sleep-in houseguests.
COMMUNITY CHARCOAL GRILL
We will be opening the grill by Sunday, June 27, following some cleaning, repairs and grate replacement. Sun Valley will provide coals and grilling utensils. Members must take responsibility to light the coals and never leave a lit grill unattended. Ash from burnt coals should be left in the grill overnight to cool or scooped into the metal tin. Please wash all utensils in the utility sink where grill supplies are stored (never wash cooking utensils in the locker rooms). Thank you!
SOCIAL EVENTS
We are excited to bring back many of our beloved social events this summer. We will start with some low-key festivities for the 4th of July. The line-up of other events over the summer is still being finalized. We will be sharing more information soon.
We continue to ask for your cooperation to keep proper distance between unvaccinated individuals and always wear a mask indoors / limit time spent in locker rooms if you are not fully vaccinated. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. Continue to practice good hand hygiene. Together we can keep our community healthy. Thank you!
Tennis Reminders
Proper footwear must be worn on the tennis courts. You cannot be on the courts in bare feet, sandals or crocs.
When entering the tennis courts, wait until the play is finished on Court 1 prior to entering the gate. The same goes for court 2 if you are heading to Court 3. Wait at the fence in between courts before crossing behind when players are in play. It is tennis etiquette in addition to being a safety issue.
